Damiano Battisti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aşır Zabit in the 9th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Aşır Zabit managed to get in a good position for a shot. KOCAELİSPOR's supporters rose to their feet, but Aşır Zabit was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Damiano Battisti breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Damiano Battisti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aşır Zabit, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes into the match, Eurospeed Asti's goal looked a bit too open when Aşır Zabit came free, but Damiano Battisti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aşır Zabit sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Damiano Battisti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aşır Zabit, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Damiano Battisti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aşır Zabit in the 27th minute of the match. Aşır Zabit blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Damiano Battisti having to make a save. When Seyfullah Tuğsavan came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the KOCAELİSPOR fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Seyfullah Tuğsavan couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, KOCAELİSPOR's Şemsettin Tuyuğ got control of the ball when Elia Pietrantoni tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 36th minute, Zachary Bienienda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 37th minute of the match Fortunato Borromeo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Şemsettin Tuyuğ showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 42nd match minute, Eurospeed Asti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edward Barr to maneuver through the defense. KOCAELİSPOR's Aşır Zabit got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 44 played minutes Eurospeed Asti got a freekick which was hit by Fausto Pinti.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elia Pietrantoni stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the game, one of Eurospeed Asti:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Damiano Battisti, was totally fooled by KOCAELİSPOR's Aşır Zabit, who 57 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. 63 minutes into the game, Elia Pietrantoni cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Şemsettin Tuyuğ was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. KOCAELİSPOR's Rafet Hazin was substituted for Ediz Tekdoğan. KOCAELİSPOR's Davut Erek was substituted for Boğaçhan Tanır. A collision led to KOCAELİSPOR getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Hami Şahistan hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, KOCAELİSPOR's Hami Şahistan got a free kick in the 82nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Eurospeed Asti's zone, Aşır Zabit stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Damiano Battisti came out of the goal and Aşır Zabit tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 88th minute, Iosif Gherase hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Claudio Delgadillo's late challenge caught a Eurospeed Asti's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Claudio Delgadillo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 89th match minute, KOCAELİSPOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudio Delgadillo to maneuver through the defense. The Eurospeed Asti supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching KOCAELİSPOR's performance. The match ended with a win for KOCAELİSPOR.
