Spectators: 156 (Terracing: 117, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ömer Demirci took the kick off in the first half of the match. Reko Nybacka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ömer Demirci in the 4th minute of play. The supporters of KOCAELİSPOR booed when Catugi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walmir Duarte didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ömer Demirci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Reko Nybacka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Walmir Pombal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 12th minute Edson Couto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şemsettin Tuyuğ saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabiano Maranhense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ömer Demirci in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Reko Nybacka saved Catugi FC from getting behind. In the 47th minute Fabiano Maranhense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şemsettin Tuyuğ saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Walmir Pombal to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walmir Pombal in the 52nd minute of play forced KOCAELİSPOR's goalkeeper Şemsettin Tuyuğ to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner ended in Vicente Valladares almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but KOCAELİSPOR's Şemsettin Tuyuğ did a great save. When Ömer Demirci came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the KOCAELİSPOR fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ömer Demirci couldn't finish the play. A sloppy throw-in by Jaime França in the 58th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by KOCAELİSPOR's Ediz Tekdoğan. KOCAELİSPOR's Davut Erek was substituted for Boğaçhan Tanır. KOCAELİSPOR's Rafet Hazin was substituted for Ediz Tekdoğan. KOCAELİSPOR made a substitution. Aşır Zabit replaced Ömer Demirci. After a rather tough play, Catugi FC's Erik Sanches got a free kick in the 70th minute. 71 minutes into the match, KOCAELİSPOR's Aşır Zabit sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Reko Nybacka narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Şemsettin Tuyuğ made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Fabiano Maranhense sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Aşır Zabit put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Reko Nybacka. After a rather tough play, Catugi FC's Benjamim Alvarenga got a free kick in the 80th minute. Zachary Bienienda took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 81st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Reko Nybacka. Catugi FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 85th match minute, KOCAELİSPOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fiori Britto to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th minute Walmir Pombal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şemsettin Tuyuğ saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When KOCAELİSPOR's Aşır Zabit in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Catugi FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 91st minute, Catugi FC's Fabiano Maranhense dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1.
