Iker Casillas came out of the goal and Dario Opilano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Dario Opilano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iker Casillas was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Villa Gordiani's Fabrizio Canzano got a free kick in the 47th minute. Racing Club's Homer Field was substituted for Ramiro Lano. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Epifanio Txomin to strike the kick off in the second half. Villa Gordiani's Iker Casillas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Epifanio Txomin in the 53rd minute of play. Cornelio Cordearo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arrigo Marrone in the 54th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Homer Field got free with Iker Casillas in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Homer Field fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iker Casillas having to interfere. In the 74th minute Epifanio Txomin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iker Casillas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, Racing Club's Epifanio Txomin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Iker Casillas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 79 minutes into the match, Villa Gordiani's goalkeeper Iker Casillas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Epifanio Txomin.
