Cornelio Cordearo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cipriano Aguilera in the 16th minute of the match. Cornelio Cordearo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salvador Hats in the 19th minute of play. In the 23rd minute Cipriano Aguilera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cornelio Cordearo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cornelio Cordearo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delmar Manex, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Santos Orlan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ramiro Lano in the 26th minute. Racing Club's Cornelio Cordearo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cipriano Aguilera in the 30th minute of play. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind El Fortín de Floresta's goalkeeper Santos Orlan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Epifanio Txomin was the one to do the kick off. In the 96th minute, Samuel Nevada sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and El Fortín de Floresta's Santos Orlan didn't even have to move. Racing Club's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
