The Paunero fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Albino Inguma should have stopped the shot. In the 29th match minute, Villa Gordiani was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Philippe Albert to maneuver through the defense. In the 32nd minute, Aristide Iureș made a precise shot to the right of Iker Casillas. Villa Gordiani's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ove Bergman made a kick off. Francesco Cilli came free with the goalkeeper in the 52nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Iker Casillas could save by the left post. It was Jose Rosario who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Paunero's Jose Rosario to fire away a dangerous shot which Iker Casillas despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The Paunero players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
