The supporters of Racing Club booed when Paunero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulino Eguerdi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Racing Club's Epifanio Txomin was substituted for Dario Opilano. In the 47th minute Ramiro Lano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albino Inguma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paunero's Albino Inguma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramiro Lano in the 47th minute of play.

Racing Club's Efmamjjasond Bronco was substituted for Mario Silban. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Epifanio Txomin made a kick off. Paunero's Albino Inguma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Epifanio Txomin in the 88th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Epifanio Txomin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Albino Inguma was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. Cornelio Cordearo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aristide Iureș, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Racing Club supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Paunero's performance. The match ended with a win for Paunero.
