Cornelio Cordearo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artur Buczko in the 3rd minute of play. 5 minutes into the match, Gigante da Colina FC-DMZ's goalkeeper Dida Gröhe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ramiro Lano. Dario Opilano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Dida Gröhe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 10th minute Artur Buczko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cornelio Cordearo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Samuel Nevada took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Dida Gröhe to make any attempt to save it. In the 18th minute Dario Opilano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dida Gröhe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Racing Club's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mario Silban in the 19th minute. Dida Gröhe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domingo Austin in the 21st minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Gigante da Colina FC-DMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Dario Opilano came free, but Dida Gröhe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gigante da Colina FC-DMZ's Dida Gröhe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramiro Lano in the 27th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnaldo Alsua in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cornelio Cordearo saved Racing Club from getting behind. 34 minutes into the match, Gigante da Colina FC-DMZ's goalkeeper Dida Gröhe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lucas Eladio. Racing Club's Cornelio Cordearo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnaldo Alsua in the 36th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arnaldo Alsua in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cornelio Cordearo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dida Gröhe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Nevada, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. The supporters of Gigante da Colina FC-DMZ booed when Racing Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benigno Piorno didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gigante da Colina FC-DMZ's Dida Gröhe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuel Nevada in the 43rd minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After 53 played minutes Gigante da Colina FC-DMZ got a freekick which was hit by Ulysses Camargo. Racing Club's Ramiro Lano suffered a concussion after 55 minutes and had to leave the field. When Cristiano Barral fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gigante da Colina FC-DMZ's protests and gave Cristiano Barral a yellow card for diving instead. Racing Club's Lucas Eladio got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Racing Club made a substitution. Efmamjjasond Bronco replaced Mario Silban. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Epifanio Txomin in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dida Gröhe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gigante da Colina FC-DMZ's Dida Gröhe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Epifanio Txomin in the 71st minute of play. 73 minutes had been played when some careless play by Gigante da Colina FC-DMZ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Samuel Nevada was slow to take the kick. During this time Racing Club's players had a chance to rest. Racing Club's Samuel Nevada was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dida Gröhe in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 75 minutes into the match, Racing Club's Epifanio Txomin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dida Gröhe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Racing Club's Lucas Eladio quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Célio Hoffmann, made in the 77th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domingo Austin in the 78th minute of play forced Gigante da Colina FC-DMZ's goalkeeper Dida Gröhe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dida Gröhe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Epifanio Txomin in the 81st minute of the match. Racing Club's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Samuel Nevada in the 83rd minute. Epifanio Txomin scored 2-1 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dida Gröhe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cornelio Cordearo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnaldo Alsua in the 88th minute of play. A throw-in in the 90th minute of the game was made by Väino Ratas with Célio Hoffmann as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Through an outstanding action, after 91 minutes, Cornelio Cordearo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Artur Buczko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Cornelio Cordearo made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Racing Club had won after a very even match.
