When Jan-Olof Eliasson came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the La Gallardeta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jan-Olof Eliasson couldn't finish the play. In the 7th match minute, La Gallardeta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan-Olof Eliasson to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, La Gallardeta's Belchior Saldanha got control of the ball when Yu Feng Xi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Belchior Saldanha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timo Thorstein in the 10th minute of play. The supporters of Carpathian Wolves booed when La Gallardeta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vinicio Polentzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Belchior Saldanha was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Timo Thorstein showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. After 16 played minutes Carpathian Wolves got a freekick which was hit by Leszek Pisarczyk. After 17 played minutes La Gallardeta got a freekick which was hit by Vinicio Polentzi. In the 18th minute Avram Panaiteanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Belchior Saldanha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. La Gallardeta's Belchior Saldanha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Avram Panaiteanu in the 18th minute of play. Juan Gotzon who after having made a long run got a chance for a shot on goal. Despite a couple of nice moves Olimpiu Hârlău's wasn't to be fooled and made an easy save when Juan Gotzon was beeing forced to shoot. After some careless play in the La Gallardeta defense, Avram Panaiteanu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Belchior Saldanha. The La Gallardeta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Belchior Saldanha should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timo Thorstein in the 28th minute of play forced La Gallardeta's goalkeeper Belchior Saldanha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Timo Thorstein in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Belchior Saldanha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Carpathian Wolves fans' excitement grew in the 30th match minute when Carpathian Wolves's Timo Thorstein looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 33 minutes into the match, Carpathian Wolves's goal looked a bit too open when Jan-Olof Eliasson came free, but Olimpiu Hârlău reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Carpathian Wolves defense, Jan-Olof Eliasson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Olimpiu Hârlău. Thanks to some nice moves Yu Feng Xi could shoot a difficult shot in the 37th minute, which Belchior Saldanha however easily saved by the left post. 38 minutes into the match, La Gallardeta's goalkeeper Belchior Saldanha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Timo Thorstein. After some careless play in the La Gallardeta defense, Timo Thorstein kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Belchior Saldanha. The La Gallardeta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Belchior Saldanha should have stopped the shot. Belchior Saldanha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timo Thorstein, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fulgencio Gartzi to strike the kick off in the second half. Olimpiu Hârlău made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Jan-Olof Eliasson sent off a good shot on target. Olimpiu Hârlău showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fulgencio Gartzi in the 61st minute of the match. Jan-Olof Eliasson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leszek Pisarczyk hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. 67 minutes into the match, Fulgencio Gartzi dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Olimpiu Hârlău, 5-2. When Jan-Olof Eliasson came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the La Gallardeta fans jumped to their feet. After 82 minutes, Jan-Olof Eliasson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Gallardeta and the Carpathian Wolves players grew even worse after the yellow card. Belchior Saldanha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Avram Panaiteanu in the 89th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fulgencio Gartzi got free with Olimpiu Hârlău in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
