Azul Y Plomo's Zacarias Cabrero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romelio Lukaku in the 7th minute of play. After 8 minutes, Chiriboga Torres mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Azul Y Plomo and the Real Brasília FC - DMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 8th match minute, Azul Y Plomo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chiriboga Torres to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kris Wisanggeni in the 11th minute of play forced Azul Y Plomo's goalkeeper Zacarias Cabrero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zacarias Cabrero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kris Wisanggeni, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Victor Carneiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hector Bobis in the 18th minute of the match. The throw-in from Yanick Winnepennincx in the 24th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Azul Y Plomo's Diaz Mota. In the 30th minute, Romelio Lukaku left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Real Brasília FC - DMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kris Wisanggeni in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zacarias Cabrero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 35 minutes, Evandro Varela mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real Brasília FC - DMZ and the Azul Y Plomo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Evandro Varela kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. When Pierrot Uyttebroeck came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Real Brasília FC - DMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pierrot Uyttebroeck couldn't finish the play. 40 minutes into the match, Azul Y Plomo's goal looked a bit too open when Romelio Lukaku came free, but Zacarias Cabrero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Azul Y Plomo players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Real Brasília FC - DMZ were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hector Bobis to make the kick off. In the 54th match minute, Real Brasília FC - DMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pierrot Uyttebroeck to maneuver through the defense. 55 minutes into the match, Azul Y Plomo's Salas Larrinzar broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. With his leg Zacarias Cabrero managed to avoid a goal in the 57thth minute, when Real Brasília FC - DMZ's Kris Wisanggeni fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Henrique Medeiros was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 61 minutes into the match. Azul Y Plomo's Latif Biçim was substituted for Teo Alberdi. Azul Y Plomo made a substitution. Hector-Luis Arzola replaced Hector Bobis. 61 minutes into the game, one of Real Brasília FC - DMZ:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Victor Carneiro had in the 64thth minute some difficulties stopping José Macías's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 65th minute of the match Azul Y Plomo got a corner. Real Brasília FC - DMZ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Salas Larrinzar ran over to the corner to take the kick. Azul Y Plomo's Zacarias Cabrero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nildo Perez in the 67th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nildo Perez in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 73 minutes into the match, Real Brasília FC - DMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Latif Biçim came free, but Victor Carneiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Macías in the 75th minute of play forced Real Brasília FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Victor Carneiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 78 minutes of play, Azul Y Plomo's Latif Biçim made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Victor Carneiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Azul Y Plomo's Hector-Luis Arzola, in the 83rd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Azul Y Plomo. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Macías in the 87th minute of play forced Real Brasília FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Victor Carneiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. José Macías might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Victor Carneiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. José Macías ran back to his position shaking his head. José Macías sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Victor Carneiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hector-Luis Arzola in the 95th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Hector-Luis Arzola's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Victor Carneiro was relentless in the 97th minute of the game. Despite being the better team, Real Brasília FC - DMZ failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
