Estebano Lecanda in the 22ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fabrício Falcão, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ni Tian Peng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Minchev, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Ni Tian Peng had in the 29thth minute some difficulties stopping Beto Breckenfeld's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind El Pinar's goalkeeper Ni Tian Peng, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jurupeba FC's Fabrício Falcão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Jurupeba FC from getting a goal against them. If Martin Minchev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabrício Falcão was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Süreyya Uzer showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 39 minute of play. After some careless play in the El Pinar defense, Beto Breckenfeld kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ni Tian Peng. The El Pinar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ni Tian Peng should have stopped the shot. After 48 minutes, Beto Breckenfeld made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. El Pinar's Ni Tian Peng tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The El Pinar supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Jurupeba FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Jurupeba FC.
