Gunnar Wennerquist hit a great ball. The supporters of Jaru-Uaru booed when Fulham Broadway FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven-Edvin Unesson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 13 minutes into the game, Jaru-Uaru's Sérgio Pinheiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Börje Blomqvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Valdemar Anselius was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 24 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 24th minute of the game. One of Fulham Broadway FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Jaru-Uaru:s goal. Fulham Broadway FC:s Börje Blomqvist showed great skill when he stopped Humberto Urbano:s penalty. Börje Blomqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sérgio Pinheiro in the 30th minute of the match. After 40 minutes, Nuno Quirino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jaru-Uaru and the Fulham Broadway FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nuno Quirino hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. In the 43rd minute, Sven-Edvin Unesson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46th match minute, Fulham Broadway FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven-Edvin Unesson to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Urbano in the 60th minute of play forced Fulham Broadway FC's goalkeeper Börje Blomqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frederico Zonta came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Fulham Broadway FC's Sven-Edvin Unesson. But to his dismay, Sven-Edvin Unesson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Sérgio Pinheiro's late challenge caught a Fulham Broadway FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sérgio Pinheiro helped the player get up and apologised. In the 71st minute, Sérgio Pinheiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Börje Blomqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Humberto Urbano in the 75th minute of play. Fulham Broadway FC's Börje Blomqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humberto Urbano in the 84th minute of play. If Göran Abrahamsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sven-Edvin Unesson kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The Jaru-Uaru players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
