Lautaro Martines had several of the VARGINHA FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 25 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Dito Novaes as he didn't even see the shot coming. The supporters of Cohaerentia F.C. booed when VARGINHA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Álvaro Gaspar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Rolandsson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 35thth minute tested the skills of Dito Novaes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Mala Vakte didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Álvaro Gaspar went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 41st minute Alvin Thedin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mala Vakte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th match minute, Cohaerentia F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edvard Hurtig to maneuver through the defense. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Lázaro Amaro made the kick off in the second half. Mala Vakte made an important save on a dangerous shot by Álvaro Gaspar in the 50th minute. Dito Novaes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Martines in the 52nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, VARGINHA FC's Norbert Tepper got a free kick in the 55th minute. Mala Vakte made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcus Tande in the 59th minute. Dito Novaes came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Cohaerentia F.C.'s Lautaro Martines. But to his dismay, Lautaro Martines quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Cohaerentia F.C. made a substitution. Egil Flinck replaced Bengt-Åke Ekberg. In the 66th minute, Cohaerentia F.C.'s Alf Söderquist seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Alf Söderquist the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Cohaerentia F.C. protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Alf Söderquist had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lázaro Amaro in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dito Novaes saved VARGINHA FC from getting behind. Mala Vakte made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Marcus Tande sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Marcus Tande managed to get in a good position for a shot. VARGINHA FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcus Tande was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mala Vakte breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mala Vakte came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by VARGINHA FC's Álvaro Gaspar. But to his dismay, Álvaro Gaspar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. 88 minutes into the match, Cohaerentia F.C.'s goalkeeper Mala Vakte had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Álvaro Gaspar. In the 90th minute, Jonathan Rolandsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cohaerentia F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Alvin Thedin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cohaerentia F.C. were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of VARGINHA FC for a fine match.
