When Pedrão Tepedino fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Agroboys SM - CIMZ's protests and gave Pedrão Tepedino a yellow card for diving instead. Valério Monteiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabrício Lustosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. After some careless play in the Agroboys SM - CIMZ defense, Fabrício Lustosa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Valério Monteiro. The Agroboys SM - CIMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valério Monteiro should have stopped the shot. Academia Monte Gordo's Pascual Mouricio managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Pedrão Tepedino in the 9 minute of the game. Fabrício Lustosa might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Valério Monteiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fabrício Lustosa ran back to his position shaking his head. Fabrício Lustosa's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 11thth minute, Valério Monteiro skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 14th minute, Academia Monte Gordo's Fabrício Lustosa dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Fabrício Lustosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabrício Lustosa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 20 minutes into the match, Fabrício Lustosa notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Agroboys SM - CIMZ's Valério Monteiro. Valério Monteiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Agroboys SM - CIMZ's goalkeeper Valério Monteiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fabrício Lustosa might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Valério Monteiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fabrício Lustosa ran back to his position shaking his head. If Pascual Mouricio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabrício Lustosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valério Monteiro having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabrício Lustosa got free with Valério Monteiro in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 37th minute Academia Monte Gordo were awarded a corner. Adolfo Silva went to the cornerflag to take it. With his leg Valério Monteiro managed to avoid a goal in the 40thth minute, when Academia Monte Gordo's Fabrício Lustosa fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to Agroboys SM - CIMZ getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Paulinho Moraes hit a great ball. If Fabrício Lustosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Agroboys SM - CIMZ's goalkeeper Valério Monteiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Academia Monte Gordo's Arana Ponta quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Pedrão Tepedino, made in the 43rd minute of the game. 46 minutes in the game Cássio Alcântara did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Jardel Correia. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Academia Monte Gordo made a substitution. Fryderyk Grucza replaced Fabrício Lustosa. The wind increased when Marco Hoffmann made the kick off in the second half. Valério Monteiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adérito Abreu in the 53rd minute of the match. Acácio Freitas kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Valério Monteiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fryderyk Grucza in the 55th minute of play. Fryderyk Grucza took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valério Monteiro. Valério Monteiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Valério Monteiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fryderyk Grucza went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Paulinho Moraes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Mao Zhen Hong tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pascual Mouricio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Kartal Kartalov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Academia Monte Gordo's supporters rose to their feet, but Kartal Kartalov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valério Monteiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Academia Monte Gordo's Dinei Sergipano was substituted for Adérito Abreu. Valério Monteiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fryderyk Grucza, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Valério Monteiro came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Academia Monte Gordo's Fryderyk Grucza. But to his dismay, Fryderyk Grucza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. Fryderyk Grucza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Valério Monteiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Pedrão Tepedino hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. In the 86th minute Fryderyk Grucza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valério Monteiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fryderyk Grucza blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Valério Monteiro having to make a save. 89 minutes into the game, Academia Monte Gordo's Fryderyk Grucza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Valério Monteiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. Fryderyk Grucza might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Valério Monteiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fryderyk Grucza ran back to his position shaking his head. Academia Monte Gordo walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
