GoalHunters's supporters crossed their fingers, but Denis Oprescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yulian Courtois took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denis Oprescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Denis Oprescu in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yulian Courtois prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The GoalHunters fans' excitement grew in the 18th match minute when GoalHunters's Denis Oprescu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Pedro Jerrold took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yulian Courtois. Yulian Courtois dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After 28 minutes, 陶峰国 made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. GoalHunters's Daniel Jienescu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 陶峰国's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Daniel Jienescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. 陶峰国 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Jienescu having to interfere. Leontin Traianescu charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The supporters of 『盛世メ名門』中国新力量 booed when GoalHunters was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leontin Traianescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 40th minute 蔡星枫 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Jienescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Denis Oprescu to make the kick off.
