The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luís Matorin during the 3rd minute. After 9 minutes of play, TORQUE F.C.'s Cristian Ieltxu made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Herminio Arnas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian Ieltxu in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Herminio Arnas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 22 minutes into the match, ANTIBOSTEROS FUTBOL CLUB's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Ieltxu came free, but Herminio Arnas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Ieltxu in the 24th minute of play forced ANTIBOSTEROS FUTBOL CLUB's goalkeeper Herminio Arnas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ANTIBOSTEROS FUTBOL CLUB's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Ieltxu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. ANTIBOSTEROS FUTBOL CLUB's Herminio Arnas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Ieltxu in the 41st minute of play. Cristian Ieltxu took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Herminio Arnas. Herminio Arnas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Ieltxu got free with Herminio Arnas in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With 60 minutes on the clock, Claes Sjögren commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 59 minutes into the game, one of TORQUE F.C.:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 72 minutes into the match, TORQUE F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Everardo Berasko came free, but Sébastien Frey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
