In the 30th match minute, Florida Gulf Coast was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vladislav Febov to maneuver through the defense. Florida Gulf Coast's John James managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Andžs Redzobs in the 33 minute of the game. Lukáš Katačić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valdis Felbergs came out of the goal and Lukáš Katačić tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luis Nardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cipriano Sauveur in the 82nd minute of the match. When Jakub Swierczok came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Black horses fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jakub Swierczok couldn't finish the play. Florida Gulf Coast's Nestor Inko was substituted for Lukáš Katačić. In the 90th minute, Larry Houben got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 92 minutes into the match, Florida Gulf Coast's goal looked a bit too open when Jakub Swierczok came free, but Luis Nardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Florida Gulf Coast's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
