In the 8th minute Nikolas Kafkalas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henning Lundhberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sérgio Vargas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sture Böcklund in the 12th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 23 minutes, Sérgio Vargas successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jan-Ove Hägglund in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sérgio Vargas saved FC GURZUN from getting behind. 26 minutes into the match, FC GURZUN's goal looked a bit too open when Sture Böcklund came free, but Sérgio Vargas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Henning Lundhberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nikolas Kafkalas in the 27th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Ove Hägglund in the 28th minute of play forced FC GURZUN's goalkeeper Sérgio Vargas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute FC South Park were awarded a corner. Johan Svanberg went to the cornerflag to take it. 35 minutes into the match, Julien Luarasi notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of FC South Park's Henning Lundhberg. Henning Lundhberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julien Luarasi in the 41st minute of play forced FC South Park's goalkeeper Henning Lundhberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 42 minutes into the match, FC South Park's goal looked a bit too open when Julien Luarasi came free, but Henning Lundhberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to FC GURZUN getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Alexandru Ghionea hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nikolas Kafkalas in the 47th minute of play forced FC South Park's goalkeeper Henning Lundhberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nikolas Kafkalas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Johan Svanberg struck a weak shot in the 50th minute. Sérgio Vargas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC South Park. Sérgio Vargas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sture Böcklund in the 52nd minute of the match. Sérgio Vargas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan-Ove Hägglund, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. After 70 minutes of play, FC GURZUN's Nae Hurmuzache made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Henning Lundhberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind FC South Park's goalkeeper Henning Lundhberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. FC GURZUN's Sérgio Vargas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sture Böcklund in the 85th minute of play. Elliott Axelsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Henning Lundhberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nae Hurmuzache in the 89th minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, Jan-Ove Hägglund notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of FC GURZUN's Sérgio Vargas. Sérgio Vargas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. FC GURZUN's Angel Patrido was substituted for Mihnea Tincu. The FC GURZUN supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC GURZUN would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
