FC GURZUN's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nikolas Kafkalas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julien Luarasi in the 17th minute of play forced RIBEIRÃO FC's goalkeeper Angelo Ongile to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Nae Hurmuzache fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC GURZUN's protests and gave Nae Hurmuzache a yellow card for diving instead. Nae Hurmuzache kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Angelo Ongile showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julien Luarasi in the 25th minute of the match. But to his dismay, Nae Hurmuzache quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Angelo Ongile showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nae Hurmuzache, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Angelo Ongile showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julien Luarasi in the 36th minute of the match. FC GURZUN's Nae Hurmuzache got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 42 played minutes RIBEIRÃO FC got a freekick which was hit by Wágner Alves. Nikolas Kafkalas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Angelo Ongile having to make a save. Angelo Ongile made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Nikolas Kafkalas sent off a good shot on target. In the 47th minute FC GURZUN were awarded a corner. Julien Luarasi went to the cornerflag to take it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lukáš Modrić was the one to do the kick off. RIBEIRÃO FC's Angelo Ongile played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandru Ghionea in the 53rd minute of play. The supporters of FC GURZUN booed when RIBEIRÃO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isac Melentie didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC GURZUN's Vlad Posteucă was substituted for Mihnea Tincu. Angelo Ongile was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. FC GURZUN's Matei Cozmâncă was substituted for Nikolas Kafkalas. Dumitru Neguțu kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. A collision led to RIBEIRÃO FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Nelson de Lara hit a great ball.
