Amancio Castulo hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sture Böcklund in the 7th minute of play forced A.A FÊNIX's goalkeeper Silvano Lohitzun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 8 minutes, Humberto Haimar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the A.A FÊNIX and the FC South Park players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, A.A FÊNIX's Humberto Haimar got a free kick in the 8th minute. A.A FÊNIX's Silvano Lohitzun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johan Svanberg in the 10th minute of play. After some careless play in the A.A FÊNIX defense, Sture Böcklund kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Silvano Lohitzun. The A.A FÊNIX fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Silvano Lohitzun should have stopped the shot. Silvano Lohitzun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sture Böcklund in the 23rd minute of the match. Adrian Boman hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Amancio Castulo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Henning Lundhberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, A.A FÊNIX's Cristo Beti got a free kick in the 28th minute. Silvano Lohitzun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sture Böcklund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adrian Boman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Silvano Lohitzun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Jan-Ove Hägglund ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Silvano Lohitzun was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 41stth minute of the game Mario Marquez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC South Park's Henning Lundhberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, A.A FÊNIX's Kauã Arruda got a free kick in the 43rd minute. In the 44th minute of the match Johan Svanberg sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Silvano Lohitzun skillfully saved the ball. Henning Lundhberg didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 46th minute, which inside left pole to 2-2. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mario Marquez was the one to do the kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 52 minutes, Silvano Lohitzun successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 59th match minute, A.A FÊNIX was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kauã Arruda to maneuver through the defense. Jan-Ove Hägglund took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Silvano Lohitzun. Silvano Lohitzun dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. A collision led to FC South Park getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Tim Bålström hit a great ball. Henning Lundhberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amancio Castulo, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Johan Svanberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Silvano Lohitzun made a huge save. If Jan-Ove Hägglund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC South Park made a substitution. Elliott Axelsson replaced Johan Svanberg. Victor Batista lost his temper 83 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 83rd minute of the game. One of A.A FÊNIX:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC South Park:s goal. In the 85th minute there was a penalty for FC South Park. Patrik Hellbom stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Silvano Lohitzun. 3-4. 90 minutes into the match, FC South Park's goal looked a bit too open when Amancio Castulo came free, but Henning Lundhberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elvio Fanuco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henning Lundhberg having to interfere. In the 94th minute, FC South Park's Adrian Boman ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Silvano Lohitzun. Silvano Lohitzun yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-5. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Elliott Axelsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC South Park's supporters rose to their feet, but Elliott Axelsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silvano Lohitzun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. FC South Park's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
