Spectators: 146 (Terracing: 110, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 2) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Roberto Puch made the kick off which started today's match. The throw-in from Orlando Bittencourt in the 3rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Lanús's Esteve Herrera. Roberto Puch's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Juan Arantes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. Válbson Fernandes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Neuer having to interfere. Juan Arantes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Roberto Puch went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 11 minutes into the game, Roberto Puch cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Juan Arantes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 16th minute Renato Ferreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Neuer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Válbson Fernandes in the 19thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Manuel Neuer, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roberto Puch in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juan Arantes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Roberto Puch might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Juan Arantes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Roberto Puch ran back to his position shaking his head. Juan Arantes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roberto Puch in the 23rd minute of the match. Manuel Neuer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Válbson Fernandes in the 27th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roberto Puch in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juan Arantes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 29 played minutes Tabajara Londrina LBFC got a freekick which was hit by Melquiades Maiorga. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roberto Puch in the 30th minute of play forced Tabajara Londrina LBFC's goalkeeper Juan Arantes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juan Arantes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roberto Puch in the 32nd minute of the match. Juan Arantes came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Lanús's Roberto Puch. But to his dismay, Roberto Puch quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Roberto Puch recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Roberto Puch struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Juan Arantes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lanús. After the first half Lanús were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Lanús's Eloy Gaskon was substituted for Roberto Puch. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Renato Ferreira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eloy Gaskon in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juan Arantes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Juan Arantes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ladislao Barros in the 56th minute. Juan Arantes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eloy Gaskon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 60 minutes had been played when some careless play by Tabajara Londrina LBFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jake Hursey was slow to take the kick. During this time Lanús's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Matt Le Tissier got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Juan Arantes quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Manuel Neuer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edvaldo Cosme in the 61st minute of the match. Eloy Gaskon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Juan Arantes having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eloy Gaskon in the 65th minute of play forced Tabajara Londrina LBFC's goalkeeper Juan Arantes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juan Arantes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eloy Gaskon, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Eloy Gaskon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 67 minutes into the match, Tabajara Londrina LBFC's goal looked a bit too open when Eloy Gaskon came free, but Juan Arantes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eloy Gaskon got free with Juan Arantes in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 71st minute Eloy Gaskon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Arantes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tabajara Londrina LBFC's Juan Arantes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eloy Gaskon in the 73rd minute of play. Juan Arantes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eloy Gaskon in the 74th minute of the match. In the 76th minute, Melquiades Maiorga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Lanús's Eloy Gaskon in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tabajara Londrina LBFC's goalie prevented a goal. After 79 minutes of play, Lanús's Eloy Gaskon made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Juan Arantes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tabajara Londrina LBFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 86th minute, when Eloy Gaskon scored to the left of an out of position Juan Arantes, making the score, 0-6. Juan Arantes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eloy Gaskon went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. Lanús played a much better game than Tabajara Londrina LBFC and deserved their victory. The Tabajara Londrina LBFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
