The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Internacional Pechofrío's Joonatan Schols proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Internacional Pechofrío from getting a goal against them. 12 minutes into the match, Internacional Pechofrío's goalkeeper Joonatan Schols had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nedo Nadi. Nedo Nadi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Joonatan Schols made a huge save. Franco Catucci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timmy Siggman in the 18th minute of play. Joonatan Schols made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nedo Nadi in the 22nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Timmy Siggman in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Franco Catucci prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 25 minutes into the match, Internacional Pechofrío's goalkeeper Joonatan Schols had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nedo Nadi. Joonatan Schols took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernesto Tagliente, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the San Nicolò Kings defense, Timmy Siggman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Franco Catucci. The San Nicolò Kings fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Franco Catucci should have stopped the shot. 36 minutes into the match, San Nicolò Kings's goal looked a bit too open when Enzo Portochao came free, but Franco Catucci reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Timmy Siggman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Franco Catucci. San Nicolò Kings's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Timmy Siggman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 43rd minute, Caio Paraense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joonatan Schols made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nedo Nadi in the 44th minute. In the 44th minute, Nedo Nadi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Joonatan Schols. The goal made the score 1-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Davide Bertolini to make the kick off. After 55 minutes Internacional Pechofrío's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Nildo Sena who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Benito Bravo managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Timmy Siggman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Internacional Pechofrío's Nikolas Ferreira was substituted for Enzo Portochao. In the 69th minute, Su Qian Cheng ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Franco Catucci was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. If Su Qian Cheng had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Joonatan Schols took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernesto Tagliente, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, San Nicolò Kings's Corrado Trevisani got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 78th minute, Corrado Trevisani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 79 minutes, Franco Catucci successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Joonatan Schols showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nedo Nadi, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Nedo Nadi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joonatan Schols. Internacional Pechofrío's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nedo Nadi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. When Internacional Pechofrío's Su Qian Cheng in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye San Nicolò Kings's goalie prevented a goal. In the 86th minute of the match Internacional Pechofrío got a corner. San Nicolò Kings's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sarracino Davagnino ran over to the corner to take the kick. Sarracino Davagnino made a great header on Internacional Pechofrío's corner, it was just that San Nicolò Kings's Franco Catucci managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nedo Nadi in the 89th minute of play forced Internacional Pechofrío's goalkeeper Joonatan Schols to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 92 minutes into the match, San Nicolò Kings's goalkeeper Franco Catucci had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Su Qian Cheng.
