The score was now 1-0. Pankracy Zawacki made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Cayetano Montez sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ildefonso Fliz in the 13th minute of play forced Alianza Trujillo's goalkeeper Tomas Brandt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute, Cayetano Montez reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Pankracy Zawacki. The goal made the score 2-0. Tomas Brandt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfred Coleiro in the 20th minute of the match. 23 minutes into the game, Aron Ghinescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Tomas Brandt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ildefonso Fliz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomas Brandt having to interfere. 33 minutes into the match, Alianza Trujillo's goal looked a bit too open when Ildefonso Fliz came free, but Tomas Brandt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alianza Trujillo's Tomas Brandt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shaun De Battista in the 35th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Szilveszter Szegh got free with Pankracy Zawacki in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Meerkats FC's Pankracy Zawacki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Szilveszter Szegh in the 39th minute of play. Pankracy Zawacki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Szilveszter Szegh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alianza Trujillo's Tomas Brandt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ildefonso Fliz in the 43rd minute of play. The Meerkats FC fans' excitement grew in the 46th match minute when Meerkats FC's Ildefonso Fliz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Cayetano Montez made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelito Vivar in the 51st minute of play forced Meerkats FC's goalkeeper Pankracy Zawacki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 55 played minutes Meerkats FC got a freekick which was hit by George Axiaq. In the 56th minute, Alex Jurca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 57 played minutes, Meerkats FC's Shaun De Battista shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tomas Brandt came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Meerkats FC reached it. Ildefonso Fliz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Tomas Brandt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 59thth minute of the game Alfred Coleiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alianza Trujillo's Tomas Brandt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nikolai Gonzi kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Alianza Trujillo made a substitution. Ramon Martino replaced Cayetano Montez. The supporters of Alianza Trujillo booed when Meerkats FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nikolai Gonzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pankracy Zawacki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramon Martino, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. After 84 played minutes Meerkats FC got a freekick which was hit by Gilbert Incorvaia. In the 84th minute, Gilbert Incorvaia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 86 played minutes Alianza Trujillo got a freekick which was hit by Ramon Martino. In the 87th minute Ildefonso Fliz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomas Brandt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 90 played minutes Meerkats FC got a freekick which was hit by Aleksander Zapolski. In the 91st minute of the match Szilveszter Szegh shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pankracy Zawacki showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 94th match minute, Alianza Trujillo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Kabasele to maneuver through the defense. 95 minutes into the match, Alianza Trujillo's goalkeeper Tomas Brandt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ildefonso Fliz. In the 96th minute of the match Meerkats FC got a corner. Alianza Trujillo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Shaun De Battista ran over to the corner to take the kick. Alianza Trujillo's Tomas Brandt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aron Ghinescu in the 98th minute of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
