If Artur Bachor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 21st minute Artur Bachor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pankracy Zawacki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes had been played when some careless play by Meerkats FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Leandro Paredes was slow to take the kick. During this time Dinamita on Grass's players had a chance to rest. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Artur Bachor in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pankracy Zawacki saved Meerkats FC from getting behind. When Ildefonso Fliz came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Meerkats FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ildefonso Fliz couldn't finish the play. After 32 minutes of play, Dinamita on Grass's Artur Bachor made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pankracy Zawacki was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dinamita on Grass's Artur Bachor got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Meerkats FC defense, Artur Bachor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pankracy Zawacki. The Meerkats FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pankracy Zawacki should have stopped the shot. With 46 minutes on the clock, Ferman Verges commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 46th minute, one of Dinamita on Grass:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Dinamita on Grass. In the 49th minute there was a penalty for Meerkats FC. Aleksander Zapolski stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Vito Castelao. 3-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ildefonso Fliz made a kick off. 3-2 became the score in the 54th minute when Alfred Coleiro elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Artur Bachor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vito Castelao took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfred Coleiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. For all the effort they put into the match, the Meerkats FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense.
