The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Agustín Rossi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feng Cheng Ling in the 4th minute of play. The supporters of Rebelution booed when Mira United FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Feng Cheng Ling didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Mira United FC's zone, Oliver Petersson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eriberto Bonadona came out of the goal and Oliver Petersson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eriberto Bonadona stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oliver Petersson's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. 11 minutes into the game, Oliver Petersson lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Eriberto Bonadona. After a rather tough play, Rebelution's Marcos Richie got a free kick in the 16th minute. Rebelution's attentive Marcos Richie managed to snatch the ball when Xavier Severo made a throw-in in the 19th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oliver Petersson got free with Eriberto Bonadona in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gregório Neiva in the 25th minute of play forced Rebelution's goalkeeper Agustín Rossi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Gregório Neiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 27th minute Gregório Neiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agustín Rossi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gregório Neiva blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Agustín Rossi having to make a save. Agustín Rossi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregório Neiva in the 28th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oliver Petersson got free with Eriberto Bonadona in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rebelution's Marcos Richie managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Dércio Moreira in the 35 minute of the game. Gregório Neiva took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Agustín Rossi. Agustín Rossi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After a rather tough play, Rebelution's Marcos Richie got a free kick in the 41st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gregório Neiva in the 45th minute of play forced Rebelution's goalkeeper Agustín Rossi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 47 minutes had been played when some careless play by Rebelution's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Feng Cheng Ling was slow to take the kick. During this time Mira United FC's players had a chance to rest. Feng Cheng Ling made a great header on Mira United FC's corner, it was just that Rebelution's Agustín Rossi managed to reach the ball for a save.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gregório Neiva was the one to do the kick off. Rebelution's Chiquito Flores got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 61st minute Mira United FC were awarded a corner. Feng Cheng Ling went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Mira United FC's Feng Cheng Ling to fire away a dangerous shot which Agustín Rossi despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A hard shot by Higinio Abar from long distance, 61 minutes into the match, got Agustín Rossi's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. When Rebelution's Oliver Petersson in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mira United FC's goalie prevented a goal. Rebelution's Ivo Männik was substituted for Luisito Tiniebra. Rebelution made a substitution. Dario Guib replaced Chiquito Flores. Rebelution's Juliusz Mosiniak managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Feng Cheng Ling in the 66 minute of the game. Eriberto Bonadona showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivo Männik in the 69th minute of the match. Eriberto Bonadona made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dario Guib in the 72nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dario Guib in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eriberto Bonadona saved Mira United FC from getting behind. Gilberto Messias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eriberto Bonadona showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oliver Petersson in the 83rd minute of the match. After 85 minutes of play, Rebelution's Oliver Petersson made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eriberto Bonadona was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mira United FC's Gregório Neiva got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Rebelution had won after a very even match.
