The Everett Hawks's supporters rose to their feet, but Fre van Eijnde was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vinícius Olgado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind The Everett Hawks's goalkeeper Ludo Vanden Bossche, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Abdi Mehmet Rakim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vinícius Olgado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fre van Eijnde in the 29th minute. Andi Jovanović fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ludo Vanden Bossche having to interfere. In the 36th minute Philippe-Arnaud Heremans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vinícius Olgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 77 minutes, Teodoro Domingues managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olgado™'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Teodoro Domingues was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dieguinho Porto during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 80 played minutes Olgado™ got a freekick which was hit by Dieguinho Porto. The supporters of The Everett Hawks booed when Olgado™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dieguinho Porto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Olgado™'s Vinícius Olgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdi Mehmet Rakim in the 88th minute of play.
