Renascer's supporters rose to their feet, but Horácio Maciel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zbyszko Leper breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Olgierd Kowalski came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the BYDGOSTIA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olgierd Kowalski couldn't finish the play. Donato Souza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olgierd Kowalski, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Zbyszko Leper made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horácio Maciel in the 28th minute of play. In the 31st minute Olgierd Kowalski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donato Souza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes into the game, Renascer's Edmundo Carvalho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zbyszko Leper made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Horácio Maciel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zbyszko Leper read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Donato Souza made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Olgierd Kowalski sent off a good shot on target. Zbyszko Leper showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Carvalho in the 46th minute of the match. The supporters of BYDGOSTIA booed when Renascer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guilherme Loureiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 50th minute Patryk Zgonina managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. After the first half Renascer were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edmundo Carvalho to make the kick off. Edmundo Carvalho might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zbyszko Leper. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edmundo Carvalho ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olgierd Kowalski in the 57th minute of play forced Renascer's goalkeeper Donato Souza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 58 played minutes Renascer got a freekick which was hit by Luisão Favoretto. Renascer's Donato Souza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yu Ran Fan in the 73rd minute of play. Donato Souza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olgierd Kowalski in the 75th minute of the match. In the 78th minute, Vinícius de Andrade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Carvalho in the 80th minute of play forced BYDGOSTIA's goalkeeper Zbyszko Leper to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A throw-in in the 83rd minute of the game was made by Mariusz Warka with Sebastian Bochynski as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After 86 played minutes BYDGOSTIA got a freekick which was hit by Mariusz Warka. Zbyszko Leper made an important save on a dangerous shot by Horácio Maciel in the 87th minute. After a rather tough play, Renascer's Vinícius de Andrade got a free kick in the 89th minute. Renascer's Donato Souza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yu Ran Fan in the 92nd minute of play. When the match clock showed 92 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Yu Ran Fan sped through Renascer's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Donato Souza. 97 minutes into the match, Renascer's goal looked a bit too open when Nicklas Lindström came free, but Donato Souza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Renascer's Edgard Linhares got a free kick in the 97th minute. A collision led to Renascer getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Oğuzhan Türkoğlu hit a great ball. Donato Souza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Bochynski, who was totally free with the ball in the 99th minute. BYDGOSTIA's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
