The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute Mitchell Godwin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Gröhe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 9thth minute of the game Kylian Charreton who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Independente FC's Marcelo Gröhe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Taşçıspor's goal looked a bit too open when Adriano Tande came free, but Tony Githinji Muhoho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcelo Gröhe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mitchell Godwin in the 12th minute of play. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Kylian Charreton sped through Independente FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marcelo Gröhe. In the 26th minute, Mitchell Godwin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Taşçıspor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Trym Johnsrud scored 0-3 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcelo Gröhe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Marcelo Gröhe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mitchell Godwin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kylian Charreton in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcelo Gröhe saved Independente FC from getting behind. Independente FC's Marcelo Gröhe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kylian Charreton in the 40th minute of play. Raí Prestes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kylian Charreton blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcelo Gröhe having to make a save. Taşçıspor were awarded a corner in the 50th minute after Independente FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Barna Zöld took the corner. After taking down the ball on Taşçıspor's corner Mustafa Jamil fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marcelo Gröhe quite easily take care of the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fernando Lucas to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Independente FC's zone, Kylian Charreton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcelo Gröhe came out of the goal and Kylian Charreton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcelo Gröhe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kylian Charreton in the 56th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raí Prestes in the 59th minute of play forced Taşçıspor's goalkeeper Tony Githinji Muhoho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Taşçıspor's Tony Githinji Muhoho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raí Prestes in the 61st minute of play. In the 62nd match minute, Independente FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adriano Tande to maneuver through the defense. Marcelo Gröhe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kylian Charreton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 70 minutes, Marcelo Gröhe successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Marcelo Gröhe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Trym Johnsrud in the 75th minute of play. Joaquim Eanes hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. In the 79th minute, Mitchell Godwin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Taşçıspor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. 81 minutes into the match, Independente FC's goalkeeper Marcelo Gröhe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kylian Charreton. Taşçıspor's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Barna Zöld in the 83rd minute. Marcelo Gröhe made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Kylian Charreton sent off a good shot on target. 93 minutes into the game, Mitchell Godwin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Marcelo Gröhe. Mitchell Godwin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. The Independente FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Taşçıspor's performance. The match ended with a win for Taşçıspor.
