In the 13th minute, Olgierd Kowalski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Miroslaw Gollob was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. With a little luck, BYDGOSTIA's Zbyszko Leper got control of the ball when Jurand Cempa tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 34 played minutes BYDGOSTIA got a freekick which was hit by Piotr Gorzkiewicz. In the 36th minute, Jurand Cempa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zbyszko Leper was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Axel Coomans hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Jurand Cempa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zbyszko Leper read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Olgierd Kowalski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing BYDGOSTIA would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
