In the 4th minute, Marzoq Stonebridge made a precise shot to the right of Gilvan Sanches. Renascer's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Gilvan Sanches came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Gotham City's Dominik Noworolnik. But to his dismay, Dominik Noworolnik quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Renascer's Gilvan Sanches played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cyryl Lodowy in the 10th minute of play. Gilvan Sanches showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dominik Noworolnik in the 12th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Artur Ceresso during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Gotham City booed when Renascer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artur Ceresso didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Dominik Noworolnik's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gilvan Sanches was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. 16 minutes into the match, Renascer's goal looked a bit too open when Cyryl Lodowy came free, but Gilvan Sanches reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Gotham City's goalkeeper Kacper Gamza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Artur Ceresso. Gilvan Sanches showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cyryl Lodowy in the 23rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Artur Ceresso got free with Kacper Gamza in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Renascer defense, Cyryl Lodowy kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gilvan Sanches. The Renascer fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gilvan Sanches should have stopped the shot. Gilvan Sanches showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dominik Noworolnik, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After 34 played minutes Gotham City got a freekick which was hit by Marzoq Stonebridge. After having played for 37 minutes, Cyryl Lodowy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gotham City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cyryl Lodowy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gilvan Sanches took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cyryl Lodowy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gilvan Sanches showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marzoq Stonebridge in the 45th minute of the match. With a little luck, Gotham City's Kacper Gamza got control of the ball when Dito Brodel tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 47 played minutes Gotham City got a freekick which was hit by Marzoq Stonebridge. After the first half Gotham City were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Washington Guerra to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Renascer's goalkeeper Gilvan Sanches had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cyryl Lodowy. Gilvan Sanches made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cyryl Lodowy in the 56th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dominik Noworolnik in the 59th minute of play forced Renascer's goalkeeper Gilvan Sanches to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Renascer getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Artur Ceresso hit a great ball. A collision led to Gotham City getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Dominik Noworolnik hit a great ball. Washington Guerra might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kacper Gamza. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Washington Guerra ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dominik Noworolnik in the 65th minute of play forced Renascer's goalkeeper Gilvan Sanches to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gilvan Sanches took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dominik Noworolnik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 74 minutes into the match, Renascer's goal looked a bit too open when Dominik Noworolnik came free, but Gilvan Sanches reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marzoq Stonebridge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Armandinho Recife charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Armandinho Recife the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Armandinho Recife kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Gotham City's Gilvan Sanches threw himself towards the right post 80 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dominik Noworolnik, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 82nd minute, Gotham City's Waldemar Wnukowski seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Waldemar Wnukowski the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Gotham City protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Waldemar Wnukowski had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 81st minute, one of Gotham City:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Gotham City. In the 84th minute there was a penalty for Renascer. Cauã Antunes stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Kacper Gamza. 1-3. Renascer's defense didn't have a chance, in the 86th minute, when Dominik Noworolnik scored to the left of an out of position Gilvan Sanches, making the score, 1-4. 91 minutes into the match, Marzoq Stonebridge had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gilvan Sanches. Renascer's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marzoq Stonebridge was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. Marzoq Stonebridge recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cyryl Lodowy could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 98th minute of the match, but Gilvan Sanches made a huge save. Kacper Gamza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dito Brodel, who was totally free with the ball in the 99th minute.
