Stamen Andonov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Lucas, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fernando Lucas in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stamen Andonov saved Overal Peru from getting behind. Stamen Andonov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Lucas in the 21st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Astigar Blea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Overal Peru's supporters rose to their feet, but Astigar Blea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcelo Gröhe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcelo Gröhe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teobald Czaplicki's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Hudson Toscano charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hudson Toscano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nilson Duarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 30thth minute of the game Fernando Lucas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Overal Peru's Stamen Andonov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Overal Peru's Stamen Andonov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raí Prestes in the 31st minute of play. Senon Abravanel's late challenge caught a Overal Peru's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Senon Abravanel helped the player get up and apologised. After 32 played minutes Independente FC got a freekick which was hit by Senon Abravanel. After a rather tough play, Overal Peru's Ezequiel Cuervo got a free kick in the 35th minute. Marcelo Gröhe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teobald Czaplicki, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fernando Lucas in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stamen Andonov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fernando Lucas in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stamen Andonov saved Overal Peru from getting behind. Stamen Andonov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Lucas in the 45th minute of the match. After the first half Independente FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fernando Lucas to strike the kick off in the second half. Stamen Andonov came out of the goal in the 50th minute to try and stop a shot by Independente FC's Fernando Lucas. But to his dismay, Fernando Lucas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 54th minute, Senon Abravanel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Azibar Romerano took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 55th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Marcelo Gröhe. Independente FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a little luck, Overal Peru's Stamen Andonov got control of the ball when Raí Prestes tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 59thth minute of the game Fernando Lucas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Overal Peru's Stamen Andonov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 63 minutes into the match, Overal Peru's goalkeeper Stamen Andonov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nilson Duarte. In the 67thth minute of the game Fernando Lucas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Overal Peru's Stamen Andonov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 69th minute Astigar Blea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Gröhe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Independente FC booed when Overal Peru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gavino Nieves didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 72 minutes, Raí Prestes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Independente FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raí Prestes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Independente FC's Hudson Toscano got a free kick in the 76th minute. Azibar Romerano was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 77th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 84thth minute of the game Fernando Lucas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Overal Peru's Stamen Andonov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marcelo Gröhe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teobald Czaplicki in the 89th minute of the match. 90 minutes into the match, Independente FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gavino Nieves came free, but Marcelo Gröhe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Independente FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
