Henry de Vries was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 9th minute Jimmie Stephansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henry de Vries saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Henry de Vries took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oliver Gallberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Henry de Vries showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from John Godholm in the 28th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antoni Pstrongowski in the 30th minute of play forced Puskas United's goalkeeper Nestor Iratxo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antoni Pstrongowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Nestor Iratxo made a huge save. In the 33rd minute of the match, Vecdi Sulasi tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nestor Iratxo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 36th minute Puskas United were awarded a corner. Jonatan Ivarsson went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Puskas United's John Godholm to fire away a dangerous shot which Henry de Vries despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 37th match minute, Puskas United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eino Neemoja to maneuver through the defense. Bilal Cezar scored 1-1 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nestor Iratxo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 42nd minute, Oliver Gallberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Oliver Gallberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Henry de Vries tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonatan Ivarsson walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. John Godholm could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Henry de Vries made a huge save. If Jimmie Stephansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nestor Iratxo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vecdi Sulasi in the 60th minute of play. John Godholm could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Henry de Vries made a huge save. A collision led to Birvan Spor Kulübü getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Vecdi Sulasi hit a great ball.
