In the 9th match minute, FC NATIONAL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paraskevas Sorin to maneuver through the defense. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when FC NATIONAL's Akestes Bentihavas in the 15th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Thys Styles was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Wesselbend through an amazing save. Thys Styles acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 15th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Paraskevas Sorin. In the 17th minute Lander Bormans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bogdan Lobonț saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Phaiakes Paraskevopoulos could shoot a difficult shot in the 20th minute, which Thys Styles however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octavian Popescu in the 21st minute of play forced Wesselbend's goalkeeper Thys Styles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of FC NATIONAL booed when Wesselbend was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacques Van Bever didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thys Styles was a little too slow when Apostolis Polychronopoulos got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 25th minute. The score was now 2-1. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Wesselbend's goalkeeper Thys Styles, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thys Styles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Apostolis Polychronopoulos in the 29th minute. Phaiakes Paraskevopoulos's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 30thth minute, Thys Styles skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Wart Vanneste fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wesselbend's protests and gave Wart Vanneste a yellow card for diving instead. With splendid footwork Apostolis Polychronopoulos arrived in front of goal to shoot 3-1 by the left pole in the game's 34th minute. Phaiakes Paraskevopoulos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mathijs Van der Veeren hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. In the 39th minute, Apostolis Polychronopoulos reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Thys Styles. The goal made the score 4-1. A collision led to FC NATIONAL getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Aiakos Karahalios hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tobias Davus was the one to do the kick off. When the match clock showed 54 minutes, the score became 5-1 when Octavian Popescu sped through Wesselbend's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Thys Styles. Mathijs Van der Veeren charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mathijs Van der Veeren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mathijs Van der Veeren kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 58th minute, Matthias Wilmots hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paraskevas Sorin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Octavian Popescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thys Styles was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. In the 63rdth minute of the game Octavian Popescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wesselbend's Thys Styles was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thys Styles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Octavian Popescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 68 minutes into the match, Wesselbend's goal looked a bit too open when Phaiakes Paraskevopoulos came free, but Thys Styles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th minute, Lander Bormans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When FC NATIONAL's Apostolis Polychronopoulos in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With a left leg Thys Styles saved Wesselbend from getting behind. 75 minutes into the match, Wesselbend's goal looked a bit too open when Apostolis Polychronopoulos came free, but Thys Styles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Akestes Bentihavas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Akestes Bentihavas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The FC NATIONAL fans' excitement grew in the 84th match minute when FC NATIONAL's Octavian Popescu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Thys Styles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Phaiakes Paraskevopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 90 minutes into the match, Akestes Bentihavas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Thys Styles. Wesselbend's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Akestes Bentihavas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-1. Octavian Popescu scored 8-1 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thys Styles, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 95th minute, Apostolis Polychronopoulos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thys Styles was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-1.
