In the 2nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Sandinense ADF's goalkeeper Breno Costa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Sandinense ADF's goalie and right to Philipp Van Emelen. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Sandinense ADF's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 4 minutes into the match, de belletrekkers's Philipp Van Emelen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Breno Costa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Juvenal da Rocha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. De-la-Cruz de Alcântara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, de belletrekkers's De-la-Cruz de Alcântara got control of the ball when Burak Özdoğan tried to sneak it across the goal line. The corner ended in Juvenal da Rocha almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but de belletrekkers's De-la-Cruz de Alcântara did a great save. With his leg De-la-Cruz de Alcântara managed to avoid a goal in the 20thth minute, when Sandinense ADF's Hubert Wallmark fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 23 minutes into the match, de belletrekkers's goal looked a bit too open when Juvenal da Rocha came free, but De-la-Cruz de Alcântara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rein Goethals fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Breno Costa having to interfere. Burak Özdoğan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 29 minutes, Rein Goethals managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. de belletrekkers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rein Goethals was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. De-la-Cruz de Alcântara made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Burak Özdoğan sent off a good shot on target. Rein Goethals sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Juvenal da Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paulus Van Hove to strike the kick off in the second half. Sandinense ADF's Breno Costa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Sandinense ADF from getting a goal against them. 55 minutes into the match, Sandinense ADF's goalkeeper Breno Costa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rein Goethals. In the 57thth minute of the game Hubert Wallmark who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but de belletrekkers's De-la-Cruz de Alcântara was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. De-la-Cruz de Alcântara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hubert Wallmark in the 59th minute of the match. In the 60th minute Paulus Van Hove shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Breno Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Burak Özdoğan struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. De-la-Cruz de Alcântara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sandinense ADF. De-la-Cruz de Alcântara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hubert Wallmark, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65th minute, de belletrekkers's Rein Goethals dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulus Van Hove in the 69th minute of play forced Sandinense ADF's goalkeeper Breno Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Sandinense ADF's goal looked a bit too open when Paulus Van Hove came free, but Breno Costa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alexandre Amaral kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 80 minutes, Breno Costa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a little luck, Sandinense ADF's Breno Costa got control of the ball when Rein Goethals tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 84 played minutes Sandinense ADF got a freekick which was hit by Juvenal da Rocha. The Sandinense ADF fans' excitement grew in the 88th match minute when Sandinense ADF's Burak Özdoğan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Sandinense ADF's Breno Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulus Van Hove in the 91st minute of play. After a rather tough play, de belletrekkers's Przemyslaw Gerlach got a free kick in the 92nd minute. When Paulus Van Hove came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the de belletrekkers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulus Van Hove couldn't finish the play. The de belletrekkers supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing de belletrekkers would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
