The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Lev Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramachandramurthy Wucherpfennig in the 3rd minute of play. Frank Zappa was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 6 minutes into the match. Giles Janda placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! When Walter Heggert came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the All Boys 22 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Walter Heggert couldn't finish the play. When Glintung FC's Bandit Idaman in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye All Boys 22's goalie prevented a goal. All Boys 22's Ezequiel Fresco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giles Janda in the 25th minute of play. Lev Buffon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filip Hâldan, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 1-0 became the score in the 33rd minute when Bandit Idaman elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Lev Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filip Hâldan in the 45th minute of play. After 47 minutes, Malam Senin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Glintung FC and the All Boys 22 players grew even worse after the yellow card. All Boys 22 made a substitution. Angelo Guipuzkoa replaced Ramachandramurthy Wucherpfennig. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bandit Idaman to make the kick off. João Francisco Freire could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Lev Buffon made a huge save. After 53 played minutes Glintung FC got a freekick which was hit by Bandit Idaman. Ezequiel Fresco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bandit Idaman in the 55th minute of the match. In the 60th minute João Francisco Freire shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lev Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Glintung FC's Lev Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Francisco Freire in the 62nd minute of play. Bandit Idaman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Ezequiel Fresco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, All Boys 22's goal looked a bit too open when Bandit Cinta came free, but Ezequiel Fresco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Glintung FC's Lev Buffon got control of the ball when Filip Hâldan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ezequiel Fresco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bandit Idaman in the 71st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eloy Oihan in the 73rd minute of play forced Glintung FC's goalkeeper Lev Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Filip Hâldan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lev Buffon. That made the score 1-1 in the 79 minute of play. All Boys 22 made a substitution. Yngve Uggla replaced João Francisco Freire. Ezequiel Fresco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bandit Cinta's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. If Giles Janda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute Glintung FC were awarded a corner. Giles Janda went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of All Boys 22's goalie and right to Bandit Cinta. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. All Boys 22's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
