Stamatis Ifantis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bozhil Vaptzarov in the 10th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Evelio Gregory's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gonsalve Flores was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. Stamatis Ifantis had in the 25thth minute some difficulties stopping Bozhil Vaptzarov's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Thodoris Kefaloukos kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. ERGOTELIS's Stamatis Ifantis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save ERGOTELIS from getting a goal against them. Bozhil Vaptzarov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stamatis Ifantis having to make a save. 48 minutes into the match, ERGOTELIS's goal looked a bit too open when Bozhil Vaptzarov came free, but Stamatis Ifantis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The U.D. Mancini players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. ERGOTELIS were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for 任树振 to strike the kick off in the second half. Stamatis Ifantis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bozhil Vaptzarov's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Bozhil Vaptzarov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stamatis Ifantis having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bozhil Vaptzarov in the 54th minute of play forced ERGOTELIS's goalkeeper Stamatis Ifantis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mancini's Bozhil Vaptzarov got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bozhil Vaptzarov in the 79th minute of play forced ERGOTELIS's goalkeeper Stamatis Ifantis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 80 minutes ERGOTELIS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bozhil Vaptzarov who took care of the corner kick. If Bozhil Vaptzarov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bozhil Vaptzarov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stamatis Ifantis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Stamatis Ifantis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kadir Celilay in the 88th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bozhil Vaptzarov in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stamatis Ifantis saved ERGOTELIS from getting behind. ERGOTELIS's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
