Dobromir Mielak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kasper Bivall in the 39th minute of the match. After 41 minutes Mitschullen SSA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Stig-Arne Ekerot who took care of the corner kick. In the 42nd minute, Hieronim Sobania hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Flamengo's August Hjortberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernard Blochowiak in the 48th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Kasper Bivall got free with Dobromir Mielak in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
