The audience thought a goal was coming when Paulo Baldaia got free with Jannes Van Leempoel in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 10th minute Rain De Hond shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dagoberto Zonta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jannes Van Leempoel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Baldaia in the 12th minute of the match. Vergil Rupov's late challenge caught a ②Θ►LΘCΘ◄Θ⑨'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vergil Rupov helped the player get up and apologised. In the 15th match minute, Genk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vergil Rupov to maneuver through the defense. Paulo Baldaia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Jannes Van Leempoel made a huge save. ②Θ►LΘCΘ◄Θ⑨ were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after Genk's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lucas Menossi took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Chi-Chi Chi managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulo Baldaia in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jannes Van Leempoel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jannes Van Leempoel made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Paulo Baldaia sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as ②Θ►LΘCΘ◄Θ⑨'s Paulo Baldaia slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jannes Van Leempoel. That made the score 2-0 after 27 minutes of play. Rain De Hond scored 2-1 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dagoberto Zonta, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 33 minutes into the match, ②Θ►LΘCΘ◄Θ⑨'s goal looked a bit too open when Rain De Hond came free, but Dagoberto Zonta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Txerran Mortal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Jannes Van Leempoel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Loui Wouqier hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 44th minute when Txerran Mortal was dribbling his way through Genk's defense he got a clear chance for a shot, but the shot went just outside the left post.

Genk's Michel Hakimi was substituted for Ariel Paris. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulo Baldaia in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jannes Van Leempoel saved Genk from getting behind. ②Θ►LΘCΘ◄Θ⑨'s Dagoberto Zonta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vergil Rupov in the 57th minute of play. Dagoberto Zonta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tony Mampaerts, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Genk's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Segundo Ubendu in the 61st minute. The corner led Genk's Segundo Ubendu to fire away a dangerous shot which Dagoberto Zonta despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucjan Oliszewski in the 62nd minute of play forced Genk's goalkeeper Jannes Van Leempoel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner led ②Θ►LΘCΘ◄Θ⑨'s Lucas Menossi to fire away a dangerous shot which Jannes Van Leempoel despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Baldaia in the 67th minute of play forced Genk's goalkeeper Jannes Van Leempoel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th play minute Suat Kaya came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Dagoberto Zonta. 2-2. ②Θ►LΘCΘ◄Θ⑨'s King Køng was substituted for Txerran Mortal. ②Θ►LΘCΘ◄Θ⑨'s Iwo Bentkowski was substituted for Lucas Menossi. Dagoberto Zonta made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Rain De Hond sent off a good shot on target. Genk's Jannes Van Leempoel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iwo Bentkowski in the 92nd minute of play. Jannes Van Leempoel came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by ②Θ►LΘCΘ◄Θ⑨'s Iwo Bentkowski. But to his dismay, Iwo Bentkowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-3. ②Θ►LΘCΘ◄Θ⑨ were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Genk for a fine match.
