Amador Raymond scored 0-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carman Tinsley, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, RACINGUS's Håkan Wiklund got control of the ball when Jan-Olof Kinell tried to sneak it across the goal line. Håkan Wiklund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brandon Barker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leonides Chago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Darwin Saville FC's Carman Tinsley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jammy Van Essche in the 25th minute of play. Göran Jonasson in the 28thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Göran Jonasson got free with Håkan Wiklund in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 45 minutes into the game, RACINGUS's Leonides Chago nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carman Tinsley made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Leonides Chagos short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got Carman Tinsley to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Brandon Barker charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Brandon Barker the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Carman Tinsley made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leonides Chago in the 59th minute. Håkan Wiklund stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Göran Jonasson's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Håkan Wiklund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Göran Jonasson, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. The RACINGUS players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
