Kasper Bivall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Hugo Bergqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Timmy Clementsson took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised August Hjortberg. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Kasper Bivall managed to get in a good position for a shot. Flamengo's supporters rose to their feet, but Kasper Bivall was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hugo Bergqvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Skånes stolthet! booed when Flamengo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basílio Ornelas didn't get a good kick on the ball. August Hjortberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sigvard Lange in the 48th minute of play. The Flamengo players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kasper Bivall to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Flamengo defense, Iulian Miu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of August Hjortberg. The Flamengo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that August Hjortberg should have stopped the shot. In the 84th minute, Arturo Espiridion got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
