The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Perrando Martínez Lamas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timmy Henriksson, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Vince Di Cola came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by LiBeRiA F.C.'s Alonzo Bihar. But to his dismay, Alonzo Bihar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 19th minute, Nemesio Lauro reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Vince Di Cola. The goal made the score 2-1. 22 minutes into the match, LiBeRiA F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Maxim Tsigalko came free, but Perrando Martínez Lamas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Perrando Martínez Lamas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Allan Bivall, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mei Zhi Jian might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vince Di Cola. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mei Zhi Jian ran back to his position shaking his head. Samurai's Vince Di Cola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mei Zhi Jian in the 26th minute of play. Perrando Martínez Lamas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maxim Tsigalko in the 30th minute of play. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
