With his leg Siro Elia managed to avoid a goal in the 2ndth minute, when INTERNACIONAL DA BAHIA's Fred Valencia fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Siro Elia was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nilmar de Souza showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. Siro Elia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nilmar de Souza, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. After a defensive mix-up in INTERNACIONAL DA BAHIA's zone, Javier Abaurre stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alisson Goycochea came out of the goal and Javier Abaurre tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. INTERNACIONAL DA BAHIA's Alisson Goycochea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Javier Abaurre in the 12th minute of play. After some careless play in the Rocco FC defense, Ezio Gøl kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Siro Elia. The Rocco FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Siro Elia should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Rocco FC's Venancio Guillelme got a free kick in the 15th minute. Siro Elia was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ezio Gøl showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 18 minute of play. Evaristo Baudelio charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Evaristo Baudelio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Rocco FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 23rd minute. Penalty! Venancio Guillelme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alisson Goycochea having to interfere. The INTERNACIONAL DA BAHIA fans' excitement grew in the 33rd match minute when INTERNACIONAL DA BAHIA's Ezio Gøl looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marek Lodowy during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Siro Elia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ezio Gøl in the 41st minute of play. After having played for 45 minutes, Ezio Gøl managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. INTERNACIONAL DA BAHIA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ezio Gøl was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ezio Gøl took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Siro Elia. Siro Elia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 8-0 at half-time.

Orlando Loyola kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Ezio Gøl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 57 minutes into the game, INTERNACIONAL DA BAHIA's Ezio Gøl nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Siro Elia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. Siro Elia came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by INTERNACIONAL DA BAHIA's Ezio Gøl. But to his dismay, Ezio Gøl quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-0. After 64 minutes, Ezio Gøl made it 11-0 with a short kick to the right side. Rocco FC's Siro Elia tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. INTERNACIONAL DA BAHIA's Geovanni Ramalho was substituted for Ezio Gøl. After 79 played minutes Rocco FC got a freekick which was hit by Evaristo Baudelio. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geovanni Ramalho in the 82nd minute of play forced Rocco FC's goalkeeper Siro Elia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claudio Vergaray hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Geovanni Ramalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91st minute, Fred Valencia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Siro Elia was frozen by the shot and now it was 13-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. INTERNACIONAL DA BAHIA fully deserved thier win.
