The Valette Stars fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. If Guillaume Chaine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adrien Tanneau was out of position in the 18 minute of play, and Mårten Blom capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mårten Blom really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Jan Jelm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guillaume Chaine in the 20th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Rafail Rusev's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jan Jelm was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. After 27 played minutes Zendium got a freekick which was hit by Mårten Blom. Pär Hjelm hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. When Maurice Crochard came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Valette Stars fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maurice Crochard couldn't finish the play. Jan Jelm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guillaume Chaine in the 38th minute of play. Richard Enegren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adrien Tanneau read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. In the 41st minute Rafail Rusev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Jelm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rafail Rusev in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jan Jelm saved Zendium from getting behind. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Guillaume Chaine to strike the kick off in the second half. Zendium's Jan Jelm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guillaume Chaine in the 51st minute of play. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by Zendium's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Maurice Crochard was slow to take the kick. During this time Valette Stars's players had a chance to rest. Maurice Crochard made a great header on Valette Stars's corner, it was just that Zendium's Jan Jelm managed to reach the ball for a save. After a rather tough play, Zendium's Mårten Blom got a free kick in the 53rd minute. After 55 played minutes Zendium got a freekick which was hit by Albin Lekberg. Guillaume Chaine showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Guillaume Chaine was extremely unlucky when he, in the 79th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Zendium's Jan Jelm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guillaume Chaine in the 81st minute of play. Jan Jelm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guillaume Chaine, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guillaume Chaine in the 82nd minute of play forced Zendium's goalkeeper Jan Jelm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Zendium booed when Valette Stars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dan Pruvot didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dick Bennet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 96 minutes into the game, Zendium's Alberto Bosso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adrien Tanneau made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
