Valdemar Borre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugenio Asier having to interfere. 10 minutes into the match, CERPA's goal looked a bit too open when Anders Kielberg came free, but Eugenio Asier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Anísio Matos got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Eugenio Asier quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. CERPA's Eugenio Asier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anders Kielberg in the 16th minute of play. After 18 minutes CERPA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Anísio Matos who took care of the corner kick. In the 27th minute, Anders Kielberg made a precise shot to the right of Eugenio Asier. CERPA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. A collision led to CERPA getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Victoriano Tonete hit a great ball. CERPA's Eugenio Asier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anders Kielberg in the 32nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anders Kielberg in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eugenio Asier prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wiktor Strömqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eugenio Asier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wiktor Strömqvist in the 42nd minute of play. Anders Kielberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugenio Asier having to interfere. CERPA's Su Chuan was substituted for Ignacio Viviano. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Efrain Roldan to strike the kick off in the second half.
