When Epifanío Mejia came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Capo de Provincia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Epifanío Mejia couldn't finish the play. In the 34th minute, Epifanío Mejia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tino Lumijärvi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alejandro Martxelin in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tino Lumijärvi saved Kolopetinitsa from getting behind. Kolopetinitsa's Tino Lumijärvi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alejandro Martxelin in the 41st minute of play. After the first half Capo de Provincia were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alejandro Martxelin was the one to do the kick off. Luis Jiménez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Tino Lumijärvi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 79 minutes into the game, Qiao Qi threw the ball into play from the sideline. Kolopetinitsa's Akis Kiakis quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After 90 played minutes Capo de Provincia got a freekick which was hit by Tao Han. After having played for 91 minutes, Nikos Paspalidis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kolopetinitsa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nikos Paspalidis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 92 played minutes Kolopetinitsa got a freekick which was hit by Kostas Retzias. Kolopetinitsa's Tino Lumijärvi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Jiménez in the 96th minute of play.
