Tevfik Sabri came out of the goal and Dário Carneiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 31st minute of the match, Mattias Wennerberg got a very nice opportunity to score, but Tevfik Sabri was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 32 minutes into the match, Astros de México's goal looked a bit too open when João Augusto Lopes came free, but Tevfik Sabri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tevfik Sabri made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Chico de Brito sent off a good shot on target. Astros de México's Tevfik Sabri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlinhos de Brito in the 38th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlinhos de Brito in the 39th minute of play forced Astros de México's goalkeeper Tevfik Sabri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Iker Dei made a kick off.
