The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leandro Lenzi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Leandro Lenzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdulla Baia in the 13th minute of the match. In the 13th minute Abdulla Baia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leandro Lenzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, G.I.S.B. Rammstein F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Abdulla Baia came free, but Leandro Lenzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leandro Lenzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdulla Baia in the 20th minute of play. Rene Vereijt made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Roy Rowe sent off a good shot on target. Rammstein F.C players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Ouagadougou National were winning 0-2.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. William Westelinx was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when William Westelinx got free with Leandro Lenzi in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 54 minutes into the match, G.I.S.B. Rammstein F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Dani Rojas came free, but Leandro Lenzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leandro Lenzi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. FC Ouagadougou National's Rene Vereijt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Hayri Rıfat in the 68th minute of play. Leandro Lenzi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dani Rojas in the 69th minute. In the 71st minute, Roy Rowe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 74 minutes into the match, G.I.S.B.
