In the 12th minute Miguel Godoy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anselmo das Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13thth minute of the game Miguel Godoy who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Internazionale's Anselmo das Neves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Auriolam II C.F.'s Rubén Urruti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toninho Pereira in the 19th minute of play. 20 minutes into the game, Auriolam II C.F.'s Francesc Balmaseda nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anselmo das Neves made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Godoy in the 26th minute of play forced Internazionale's goalkeeper Anselmo das Neves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Miguel Godoy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anselmo das Neves read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Auriolam II C.F.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gabri Gutierrez in the 30th minute. Anselmo das Neves came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Auriolam II C.F.'s Francesc Balmaseda. But to his dismay, Francesc Balmaseda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Claudinho Passos got a throw-in 35 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Toninho Pereira. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Internazionale's goalkeeper Anselmo das Neves, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Miguel Godoy in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anselmo das Neves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 47 minutes, Miguel Godoy made it 1-4 with a short kick to the right side. Internazionale's Anselmo das Neves tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Internazionale's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. 57 minutes into the match, Internazionale's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Godoy came free, but Anselmo das Neves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sven-Erik Söderberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anselmo das Neves. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sven-Erik Söderberg ran back to his position shaking his head. Sven-Erik Söderberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Anselmo das Neves made a huge save. Anselmo das Neves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jesús Perera in the 88th minute of play. In the 91st minute Jesús Perera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anselmo das Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Auriolam II C.F. players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
