With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cezar Doicaru in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Armindo Lencastre saved F.C. Valinor from getting behind. F.C.DrobetA-Știința-'s Cezar Doicaru got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 15th minute, F.C.DrobetA-Știința-'s Matias Barros Schelloto dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 24 minutes into the match, F.C. Valinor's goalkeeper Armindo Lencastre had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cezar Doicaru. Geraldo Vilar charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Geraldo Vilar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Afonso Bulhosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Cezar Doicaru managed to get in a good position for a shot. F.C.DrobetA-Știința-'s supporters rose to their feet, but Cezar Doicaru was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armindo Lencastre breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 43 minutes of play, F.C.DrobetA-Știința-'s Cezar Doicaru made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Armindo Lencastre was left in no man's land by his defense there!

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sérgio Lamego made a kick off. The supporters of F.C. Valinor booed when F.C.DrobetA-Știința- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gică Dumitrachescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. F.C. Valinor's Afonso Bulhosa quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Bai Liang Kun, made in the 56th minute of the game. In the 58th minute, Cezar Doicaru left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The F.C.DrobetA-Știința- fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. 63 minutes into the game, F.C.DrobetA-Știința-'s Matias Barros Schelloto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Armindo Lencastre made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. 68 minutes into the match, F.C.DrobetA-Știința-'s Cezar Doicaru sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Armindo Lencastre narrowly saved just below the crossbar. F.C. Valinor's Armindo Lencastre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cezar Doicaru in the 69th minute of play. In the 76th minute Cezar Doicaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armindo Lencastre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Armindo Lencastre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matias Barros Schelloto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th minute, Cezar Doicaru got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 88th minute, Matias Barros Schelloto made a precise shot to the right of Armindo Lencastre. F.C. Valinor's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Carlitos Valderrama's late challenge caught a F.C. Valinor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlitos Valderrama helped the player get up and apologised. Carlitos Valderrama hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Dacian Popoiu hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 96 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Cezar Doicaru sped through F.C. Valinor's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Armindo Lencastre.
