After a rather tough play, FK TEPLICE STARS's Ladislav Klouček got a free kick in the 14th minute. Aris Giannopoulos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jack Bengtsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tage Lundberg charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Kolsva FK's Niclas Vennerdal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zhao Le Yin in the 56th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, FK TEPLICE STARS's goalkeeper Aris Giannopoulos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leif Hedman. Leif Hedman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Aris Giannopoulos made a huge save. Folke Grelsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leif Hedman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aris Giannopoulos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. If Leif Hedman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Zhao Le Yin came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the FK TEPLICE STARS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zhao Le Yin couldn't finish the play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Kolsva FK players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense.
