Atilio Romagnoli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oscar Saldanha having to interfere. After some careless play in the Squadra Demarchi defense, Remo Dracena kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Oscar Saldanha. The Squadra Demarchi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Oscar Saldanha should have stopped the shot. Oscar Saldanha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remo Dracena in the 24th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Squadra Demarchi's goal looked a bit too open when Remo Dracena came free, but Oscar Saldanha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oscar Saldanha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jean-Paul van der Leegte, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Denis Gilabert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudinho Pinho in the 31st minute of the match. After taking down the ball on Squadra Demarchi's corner Paulinho Paraibano fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Denis Gilabert quite easily take care of the ball. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Remo Dracena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. AL TOKE FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
